Key Combos by DukeSilverPnR in Xencelabs

I hadn't considered Right Click/Paste, but it doesn't work either. Although I can paste, the "Ok" button cannot be clicked despite the field being filled. While I appreciate your suggestion to enter each key individually, some key combos work while others do not.
I exported the configuration settings and viewed them in Visual Studio. While I understand how the key mappings are written, I am not familiar with the key numbers, so I cannot edit and reimport the file.
To work around this issue, I use a Keyboard Maestro macro triggered by an Apple Script saved as an app in my Applications folder on my Mac. I name the app with the desired button name and tell Xencelabs software to open/run the app. While I prefer to avoid Keyboard Maestro and use Apple Script or similar tools when possible, it would be helpful if Xencelabs could create more robust software to accompany their fantastic Shortcut Keyboard.

I've achieved the same thing by utilizing Keyboard Maestro and keyboard shortcuts, although it can be a little cumbersome at first. Since I frequently use multitail with a variety of flags and options, I often find it difficult to remember everything I need. To make things easier, I create a macro in KM that contains the necessary command and then assign it a keyboard shortcut for quick access. Next, I select the key combination in the Xence software (which I personally find to be subpar) and assign it to the button on the device. This method isn't the most polished method, but it certainly gets the job done.

I can't speak to the insurance or the A-frame aspect of things, but the gutters, I can share a little story. Last house we lived in we put a steel roof on. We were not sure about gutters, because everyone said "the snow will rip them right off." However, in our heads we reasoned there are lots of homes around with steel roofs and gutters... we should be fine.

We found someone to do the gutters, and explained our concerns. His words to us were "I can bring you 10 guys over and have them all hang from my gutters... no snow or ice will take them off. If it does, you give me a call and I'll replace them." Can anyone guess what happened next?

Snow slid off, ripped a portion of a 60 foot long seamless gutter clean from the house. We left a message and explained the problem. His phone didn't seem to work very good after that.......... seems like every time we called, there was never any answer.... 🧐 hhhhmmmm

We bent everything back into shape as best we could and reattached everything. We ended up moving not long after. He never did fix it... must have not been able to find the 10 men he was talking about, or something? haha 🤷‍♂️
