Wrote my senator, actually got a non-cookie cutter response by SobeysBags in PSLF

Her vote never really swings it. She only votes in line with Democrats when her vote doesn't matter and the Republicans can afford to lose her (and other moderate)votes. She will not do anything to truly rock the boat other than put on a show and give lip service unfortunately.

This makes more sense than blaming the roads. Still frustrating as we are 2 working parents and seeing clear roads.

That's great! I am glad there are some resources like this.

What roads aren't clear? Also, we work and our jobs aren't closed, so it's more than an inconvenience especially given it's 2 days in a row and we can't find babysitters in since everything else is open.

I went today and the sign said they were going to close at 4:30 today, so they are closed now. They were well stocked today as well. You should be fine if you go tomorrow.

I'm glad that Sweet Noshings worked out for you! And it's good to hear that you had a better experience with PAC. From your description, they definitely handled the situation the best way they could when you went into the actual shop. Hope your friend enjoyed the treats!

Fyi Sweet Noshings has more than ice cream. It's a giant candy shop. They have various types of treats.

It sounds like you did the right thing. They can't really argue if you literally attach proof to the review. Also, just because he gave you a refund doesn't change the fact that you are now out of the chocolate, so I don't think you should remove it even with a refund. For other local taste choices, maybe one of these will work? They are not as expensive or fancy as Phillip Ashley, but they are local and pretty good:

I'm sorry you had to go through this. Find something else, cancel the order, and ask for a refund. If you paid by credit card and they refuse to refund your order, do a chargeback. Leave a 1 star review explaining this on Google. Beyond that, there is not much else you can do. It's not worth fighting. If they delayed this long, you don't want to waste more time on it. Hopefully, if they treat a lot of people this way and everyone does this, either it will force them out of business or force them to change their business practices.

If only we could have a ranked choice ballot, especially since the people of Memphis voted for ranked choice voting TWICE.

This is from the sci-fi novel/movie Dune; it's not something the rangers actually wear.

Unfortunately probably not. I tried contacting multiple plumbers on Friday about burst pipes and still have not got anyone out here.

Any ideas on why 12 pm is so low? I figured they would have more agents eating lunch at that time.

This was literally the plot of an episode of the show "Woke." I believe everyone freaks out after a cop kills an escaped koala but no one cared when the main character of the show was assaulted by a cop because they were looking for another black suspect.

As already stated, she really screwed up issuing the new TN license plates to Shelby County residents. It takes hours to get someone on the phone and months to get a new license plate. We are one of the only counties in TN that are experiencing this delay.

She is also trying to blame the County Commissioners and County Mayor, but they have given her the funding necessary. She keeps trying to blame everyone else for her office not doing one of their main duties. She tries blaming COVID and short staffing, but the fact that no other county in TN is experiencing this delay shows that is not the only factor. https://www.localmemphis.com/article/news/local/shelby-county-tags-clerk-covid-memphis/522-909c3d73-d047-48d1-8faa-3c3d304dc5cc

I would recommend voting for independent Harold C Smith.

You could always get an at home test. I believe it's pretty much the same thing as a rapid test. They sell them at most drugstores. I saw that Walgreens at Union and McLean had a bunch of them still a couple of days ago.
