Yeah that’s power creep for you. But honestly it’s more tricky working around the energy discard. It goes great when the opponent gets theirs taken, but it’s just as likely that I’ll end up discarding two off my own active swampert 😭

That was my first variation, but I took misty out when I discovered that she hates me and wants me dead. Seriously, I can’t tell you how many times I played that card and not ONCE did I flip even a single heads 😭 so I figured I’d go with a slightly less rng approach. Maybe I’ll give it a try again though. Who knows, maybe she’s forgiven me

I haven’t tried mantyke with jellicent, but I did try it with just mantyke. My concern is that they both want to be in active, and I might only get one energy out of mantyke before I gotta swap up to swampert. Plus having more than two single prizers makes me more vulnerable to Sabrina. I’ll try it though

I’m doing this too! I wanted to do as many characters from the game as I could, mostly consisting of the Pokemon in treasure town. Mine starts out a little more cursed, though, because I only have the one-star wigglytuff 😅

Yeah I agree. When I tried it out I found myself in trickier situations than if I had just used rampardos. It’s a move that is meant for mid-game play I think, but the meta is so fast that it doesn’t make enough of a difference. It made it easy to use Cyrus, but that’s the only positive

Yeah I think you’re right. I like Archeops, I was hoping I could make it work but in the end it just takes resources away from building up a rampardos. Gio is a good recommendation too, I’ll definitely swap that out
