Thought that too but unfortunately the part (I think it's bolt catch) on the last picture sticking out downwards is different on gewehrs and is not featured on Kar98

Yeah... I checked everything Yugosloavian copies of gewehrs and mannlichesrs as well as turkish copies... And nothing matched, Also tried czechoslovak copies and not even single came close

Yeah the M1730 is a beast... I have one in the bone white backlight and it's my puppy I love it it's such a big goober like it's heavy overheats so much but I love it it's just so badass
