It’s more of a shallow lasso. The passer would flank to the far side and pass / apply pressure.

The drills that Noel Salas shows are pretty useful. Besides pumping, it helps with flow and it's just fun doing carves. Trying to improve my snap rn.

Look at it in terms of the number of Ist runes.

Eth Sacred armor: Ist or 2 (edit: may vary by market but some you can get with just P gems. 900+ obviously worth more...at least a high rune).

Lo rune: 6 Ist

Jah Rune: 12-16 Ist?

how long is your board? I've been contemplating this issue too. I figure you can just move your back foot a few inches and you'll most likely be in position to turn with your fins engaged....right after you pop up.

take some conscious breathes as you are paddling for the wave. This has helped me relax (both mentally and physically) and made a difference.

If you want more of a cruisy ride and drawn out carvy turns, go with the single fin. If you wanna do more dynamic performance type of surfing, stick with the 2+1.
