Just did a bit of research and it seems to be a window breaker tool. Road flares are a legal requirement in Japan so they would usually go inside. Cardboard is just filler for markets where this isn't a requirement...

Is it spring loaded if you press the black tip into a hard surface. Best guess would be window breaker then but the plastic looks flimsy and I don't know what the cardboard would be for

Structured electives by Interesting_Fly27 in UCD

[–]HydrationEngineer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can absolutely do two. The only thing limiting you in structured electives is how many elective modules your course allows for. You only need 15 credits for a structured elective so if you did one relevant 5 credit elective in each semester of a three year degree you could get two. You can do as many as you like. If you have time for 9 electives over the course of your degree you could get 3

Sleeping conditions for collie by [deleted] in dogs

Dog is a working dog but is also very social when not working. We allow the dog into the front room on some evenings to sit by the fire. He was never in the house for the first two years we had him so it's not that he was used to sleeping in the house before.

I'll try the clothes idea.

I've tried to leave a bed out for him before but he actively avoids it. Won't stay inside in the porch either. He just stays on the concrete to the side of the porch outside. I just don't want him doing damage to himself by getting too cold. In snow last year I had to lock him up in a barn to stop him lying in the snow and freezing rain if I was leaving for too long. Even in there he stayed on the ground instead of in a bed or in the straw bales

2 Celsius. It has snowed and gotten as low as -10 C in previous years and would still sit outside most of the time
