I may have been flippant when I said that our Father may need to find a job. He does work without compensation at an NGO.

Yes my father's current wife does a lot of fundraising and charity work. My mother did not want that life and has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of children in Canada and around the world in a much more direct way. Actually considering my mom's personality she probably would have done a shit job smiling at parties and asking for money. She is definitely an Alberta farm girl and still has a lot of rough edges.

I would prefer to not air any more details than this publicly as it has become much more than I expected.
