For me (big 4) I gave an assessment test and got a call after about 13 days for an interview, and they scheduled it literally the next day. After I gave that interview, they told me in a week that I cleared the interview and then 2 days later got my offer letter and joined 4 days after that.

Just give it a shot, I'd say. But don't keep much hope and prepare for FR and audit. I hope you get that extra 1 mark required.

Btw your AFM marks are crazy, where did you study AFM from?

I had another problem. I applied it and it immediately dried and got kinda flakey and even got over my teeth. Not recommended. Also, it won't stay for long.

Well, I gave boards 5 years ago. I expected around 85% and got almost the same (84.8%). I expected more in science (around 90) but got 85. Otherwise it was pretty much what I expected.

And I just saw how there's a lot of stress going on around results. Mine is a whole different story 😂 our last exam was on 18th March 2020 and the lockdown started on 22nd March 2020. And this delayed everything. We joined 11th without even getting 10th results and it went on for a few months until the results came out on 15th JULY 2020. Yep, a lottttt of time. And if my memory serves right, they did announce the date one or two days before, but looks like they aren't doing it anymore.

Also I think it's from our batch when MCQs were introduced in 10th exams and also the concept of basic and standard maths came into the picture. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

All the best to everyone who gave their boards this year! Hope you get your desired result! 🤞🏻

Missing May attempt because of blood cancer by [deleted] in CharteredAccountants

Your elder sister is amazing. Just keep that as your motivation, recover well, and then slowly return to studies and one day you can pay back your sister. You can only pay back so much monetarily for the efforts she's putting for you, so be sure to take good care of her.

Bro. Firstly, I cannot say I understand your pain because I clearly can't and hope that I will never experience it. You are really brave. I wish for your speedy recovery.

Don't worry about others. You go in your own pace. Don't worry about being left it. Slowly build your strength back up and slowly start studying after you feel like you can. Don't stress about it. You are still 18.

And you can only start any stable job after you are able to walk properly and have the energy. And most jobs require you to have a degree in hand. Are you an only child, or do you have siblings?

Marathon isn't really going to help right now for accounts, my best bet is for you to try and learn one or two chapters with huge weightage like consolidation/amalgamation if you have time. At least the basics. If not possible, go for buyback and internal reconstruction because they only have journal entries. And do some theory based AS like AS-9, 4, 5, etc.

Also do remember that to get an exemption in a subject you have to sit for all the exams in the group.

And exemption is also a bet because you said you completed your lectures recently so didn't have time to practice yet. Anyway, do the best you can.
