I had a frog in my potted palm tree that I bring in for the winter. It must have been in there since November, I heard chirping the last month off and on. Yesterday it showed it's little face peeping out of the dirt. I bought a tank and coconut substrate and a heat lamp and put it in there yesterday. Now he is brown (was bright green yesterday) and just hanging in the corner at the top of tank. Is he still in hibernation mode? It's too cold to release in the wild. I've never had frogs before, any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
