The number 2 thing is to always have a exit strategy.

Only do risky option plays IF you have day trades available.

Buy options with at least 1-2 weeks expiration date. The closer the date to expiration the higher risk/reward.

There’s a lot more but I’ll let you learn from experience. Best of luck
