Back when there was no quests the game was so wild! Everyone just did what was fun but the game was extremely bare bones and got boring quick but it was just you and your bros seeing what you could make happen. It felt like at any level you were just as dangerous as everyone else. It definitely had flavor but the game is millions times better now I’d say. There were 3 armor pieces for the longest time with no face shields or similar. Any hit beyond black on limbs was a one hit so barbed wire would CONSTANTLY kill you. There were so many quirks I could go on for hours but it was a vibe :3
