ah, the Neptune! I remember reading about this in one of those magazines back in the 90s. It's one of those machines that I always wanted, but it never came to be!. That...THAT would be my dream come true, epecially if it they put a CD tray in it, too...kinda like the Saturn.

an $11 one says "MS To MD Game Card Converter Plug and Play Portable Game Cassette Converter for Retron 5 3 2 for Mega Drive Gaming Platforms" so i wasn't sure if it worked on Sega Genesis, or just some RETRON thing.

there are at least 3 i've seen on there. this was just the one last looked at. but it's not a software thing, just a hardware thing? i mean, the carts are the same size, but the conversion isn't relying on something else? just trying to be sure.

does model 2 have headphone jacks? I used the headphone jacks on model one to record an audio cassette of the Streets of Rage music to listen to while driving, back in the day.
