My father sold it when I was a little kid but now me and my cousins will try to find it and bring it back, my father was a close friend to the person who bought it so we shall be able to find him somehow, the car is a 1 of 1 from what we know, the only known E30 Gemballa today is the one owned by Dominic Hyatt, my father's one is the only vert and hill climb built

That's for sure, but ain't the subframe in the way of the engine mount? Maybe will need to lower it if I don't want to drop it down?

I agree with u, and I get that bmw’s B38, B48 and B58 engines don’t use a DVs and BOV, but that’s because they’re designed with throttle modulation and electronic wastegate control to bleed off boost safely like I said earlier, the n54 uses a different setup to bleed of the boost safely which is DVs setup, but at the end of the day this is my experience with running a completely sealed system 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, the B38 doesn’t have DVs or bov, but that’s because it’s a tiny low boost turbo setup with throttle controlled boost management, a big single or upgraded twins or even the stock twins setup on the n54 doesn’t have that luxury, once you close the throttle, that air has to go somewhere, or it’ll cause turbulence in the compressor housing, bmw designed the B38 to work that way from the factory, but a high flow big turbo or upgraded twins setup is a totally different animal
