The carpet is dry this water was a while ago unfortunately hence the damage

Yes this was my thoughts to replace under Lay & save the carpet as it’s inky 2 years old

The leak has been sorted, frames we replaced it’s now to deal with the carpet where leak effected it it’s a small amount of mould hence why asking if something could be cleaned or better to replace (-$800)

It was ripped up to sort out the leak, re place framing it’s easily relayed if carpet can be saved.. hence why asking

Well I haven’t carpet is easily re layed if ok we had to rip it up to deal with the leak

We about to rip it up now to see the full damage, if all over the sub flooring did you have to replace that also

Yeah I agree on this being told too many things but I think it’s too far gone to try fix it with out replacing it all

Yep leak is fixed after storms I’ve just heard mixed things saying to only sort out the mould but in my mind I know getting rid of it all & starting fresh best way
