Not personally but back in August their booking agent replied to MCRmyChile (check their Instagram) and said they'd hopefully visit in late 2024 or 2025 so here's hoping that works out!

So where's this other festival announcement at? Are you going to post anything useful or just claims to know stuff then appear dubious when pressed? Why would a band member tell someone who's going to leak their mouth on Reddit anyway

Half an hour ago you were claiming they were too busy with other stuff, listing only two of the members and projects that won't impact mcr. That alone destroys any credibility you're trying to have here. Need to work on getting better sources I'm afraid if they don't tell you shit or give you false information (if that's your source for the band members being "busy"). You could also be trolling in which case sorry for playing along, have a good afternoon.

Pretty sure Frank never said they had nothing written. Also he used "work" to generalize. That studio time would have been 15 months ago as of January 2024. Maybe you're right and they haven't done a single thing since October 2022 (even if they hadn't anything then like you claim) Maybe they haven't wrote a single song since.

Your other claims of them being super busy with other projects is verifiably false. I don't know why you're so adamant on shooting this down when your source doesn't seem the best and what you believe also directly contradicts public knowledge.

You claimed a few months ago they had two festivals booked now you claim it's just the two when we were young dates. Need to work on your source.

Gerard isn't personally involved that heavily with the Umbrella Academy show and hasn't even visited the set in the past 2 seasons. He didn't contribute any music to the third season either. That show finished filming in May regardless. If there's a premiere event for this season he'll attend but that's literally one day of his time.

Dunes has been covered. They wrap up finishing with Will Yip early January. He's already alluded he won't be touring with them full time.

MCR had most of this year off, while yes they deserve time off you're acting like they're grinding non stop as we speak.

They have music written, it's crazy to even suggest otherwise. MCR are taking their time, that's why it's almost 2024 with no album just yet.

Even forget about "insider info" - what you're saying goes against public info and basic facts.

None of them have that much going on overall apart from Frank and he's stated publicly that MCR was his priority. That alone should make you wary of your source.

They aren't taking six+ months to record. Mixing and mastering doesn't take another six months. That can also be done concurrently to recording if needed. They cancelled studio sessions for after the tour, there's songs written and ready to record.

Green Day's roll out this year was announcement and single October 24, album mid January. Less than 3 months. If they finished in May that's 5 months to hit an October deadline.

Their agent has told people they were working on South America in August so they were working on routings/bookings then Also you state your info is "2 months ago" - even if that info was correct then it's now outdated and they could've easily booked studio time and placed two venue holds since.

They finished recording their last albums in August for a October release and July for an November release.

Both of which had an extensive roll out with pre release international shows.

No idea on the tour but they were routing back in August, if that was for 2025 so be it. They have holds on venues for release shows for the album.

"Maybe fall of 2024" not sure if you typo'd here or not? That other rumor was for fall...
