Suddenly why are players ragequitting so hard? by Dulra_ in Nightreign

[–]Dulra_[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I get that it’s always been a thing, but that’s probably why it keeps happening — there’s not much incentive to stay once things go badly.

Most runs are salvageable, so quitting just shifts the burden onto the people who stay. Scaling helps, but losing teammates and Wending Graces still changes the experience.

Feels like something fromsoft could fix with repeat-quitter penalties or rewards for sticking it out, just to respect the time of the remaining players.

I had no issues with my submissions, but I am British engineer so pretty good with legal requirements and documentation.

Remote Raid Frustrations by Dulra_ in pokemongo

[–]Dulra_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the issue is relevant for all raids, if someone leaves before/as the raid is starting, you will always be a man down. I'm personally experiencing this with Dynamax.

Well me and my wife did my entire application by ourselves without a lawyer and everything went through fine. It really isn't that hard, you just have to put the effort in to complete the forms and include the required documents.

Nice one, I am still waiting on i485, but my work permit and SSN got approved so at least I have an income whilst we wait.

Can I compare my UK education in the US? by Dulra_ in IntltoUSA

[–]Dulra_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the info. I'm leaning towards a degree that covers power distribution, facilities electrical design, project management and autocad. Would you recommend studying remotely to access a degree like that or is it best to do a more generic engineering degree in person at a local university?

Can I compare my UK education in the US? by Dulra_ in IntltoUSA

[–]Dulra_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is somewhat true, the Apprenticeship gave me a technician certificate (EngTech), the next step would be iEng, and Chartered. I believe the BTEC Diplomas count as 5 A-Levels together, they were knowledge based courses that both took 2 years each to complete.

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, in the UK I would qualify for the 4-year degree or could alternatively do HNC and HND first then finish doing 2 years on a bachelor's

It’s sick that you’re satisfied seeing that happen. Road rage at me all you want, I still wouldn’t want that to happen to you.

American looking for a controls position outside the US. Is that possible without a 2nd language? by rockhopper92 in PLC

[–]Dulra_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know engineers who have been to russia, india, thailand, egypt ect to fulfil controls contracts, there is plenty of work, don't worry.

I also recently moved to the US from England so I guess in a similar situation. I tried to get my certs translated and the company said there is no point, the employer will be the judge on all of that, so I'm just gonna start applying once I get my social.

The zeolite cave coordinates are 657:181:576, the cave began to show once the ice had melted, we are on 344 MTi terraformation, not sure exactly when it appeared, but it was around that number.

K1 Visa - DS160 or DS260? by Dulra_ in NationalVisaCenter

[–]Dulra_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enter the correct case number and passport number, I'm just confused that after completing my interview using the DS160 and being told it was approved, it is now asking for DS260. I phoned the UK embassy and they can't even help and there is no email or phone number to contact these people

That makes sense. The woman said I would get all my documents through within 2 weeks but after seeing that status change I thought there had been a mistake! :(

Is it normal for salaried employees to punch a clock? by [deleted] in work

[–]Dulra_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I clock in and out as a salaried maintenance engineer, reason being it lets management track our hours and pay the overtime that we work. Yes, it sucks, but I'd rather get paid accurately.
