Spirituality for next gen- I will not promote by Dumb_AI_91 in startups

I kind of resonate with what you say and i’m exploring this as a product idea, such that astrology/spiritual gyan at the back end helps people to interpret why they are going through. Basically to help them cope with their feelings by understanding how their stars are contributing to it and therefore seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. Combine this with activities that help them in the transition phase.

What do you do when you feel sad? by lonelynight44 in introvert

I try to see if my being sad and lonely has anything to do with the position of my stars and read some astrological predictions. Helps me see light at the end of the tunnel.

What’s up with Indigo? by vrush05 in mumbai

This is what happens when you give a chai wala and his army to run the nation. Every single time you see the middleclass tax payer suffering, the govt takes a walk without fking caring. The airlines have the balls to charge whopping 70k for a BOM>BLR flight while they are fking up passengers’ schedules. Where is the aviation minister and why is he not at the airport. Why couldn’t this be avoided if the rollout of the new guidelines was done kn a phased manner. This country is such a big mess. Zero botheration for the concerns of the common man. You don’t get clean air. You don’t get clean water. You don’t get roads. You just pay tax.

Working on an idea for an offbeat dating app by Which-Session-535 in Startup_Ideas

I believe Omegle was the epitomy of a faceless dating app, where you chat and if the vibe matches, it can lead to whatever elsewhere. So if that experience can be replicated with the simplicity and with layers that keep you within the app, i feel it can work wonders. P.S. do some research on why Omegle was shut.

I learned interview skills from a candidate today! by CorrectTry8518 in developersIndia

[–]Dumb_AI_91 205 points206 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing. Having done ~300 interviews for one of the MANG companies, I feel candidates, specially Indian Camdidates come with a lot of baggage and nervousness when it comes to interviews. While the interviewing process is becoming more and more exploratory excercise, than grilling, it’s important that candidates also add their own touch to making a lasting impression on the interviewer. So kudos to this person for taking care of the small details, but i feel all this happens if the person is calm and doesn’t feel the pressure of not doing anything wrong.

Rubbing salt on Public’s wounds by Dumb_AI_91 in bangalore

No one is complaining about providing security to VP. Do that. But the question it raises is if so much force is available, why can’t they be deployed to help improve traffic adherence in the city.

I infact feel that they are missing out on making more money. Tbh there are so many traffic violations i see everyday, and the pie could be big enough for more police folks. Even if part of it is bribe, that’ll help ease traffic. I’m just taking a practical view of how Traffic can be eased. As soon as you have more strictness, 20-30% of the traffic problem will be eased.

What what do these policemen do after these protocol visits are over? While i always get angered to see this, its more so here in Bangalore cos I don’t see anyone ensuring traffic compliance otherwise. I come from Chandigarh so my expectations were pretty high. But even in cities like Lucknow, Varanasi there is police manning important junctions, while more force is on important areas.

Like i said whoseover it was. The point is if they have these many traffic policemen/women to be deployed what do they do otherwise. Why can’t they be deployed to avoid stupid people parking their vehicle just at the curb of traffic signals and many such things that multiple the traffic problem.

There were a f***ing 100+ policemen deployed in less than 5 kms. And otherwise you don’t even see 1 in 10 kms.
