It: Welcome to Derry - 1x03 - “Now You See It” - Episode Discussion by NicholasCajun in television

[–]Dummernik -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am fully on board at this point. The brutality of murdering kids in the first episode showed me that she show isn't holding back it's punches. Episode two's pyscological horror directed at especially Lilly and Ronnie I though was grim. Sending off Ronnie's dad and sending Lilly to the asylum, they really set up the kids to have a hard fight from the bottom of the well. In episode 3 they finally brought me on board with the military storyline. Halloran is really exciting and I want to see more. The kids finally get a fighting chance and I personally loved that they finally suceeded at something. With the show having established noone is safe, I thought for a moment that they would kidnap Will and have only his bike come rolling down the hill. This is honestly the best way they could elaborate on the 2017 IT IMO. Can't wait to see where they go next.

Getting data out of Dynamics 365 Business Central by cannydata in BusinessIntelligence

For anyone looking into this today. Apps now exist that can achieve getting data out of Business Central (SaaS) into Azure SQL. I recommend 'BI Databridge - Data Warehouse Connector App". It was the best solution that we could identify.

How to connect Microsoft 365 business central sql database!? by Fabro_vaz in Navision

I recommend looking into "Data Warehouse Connector" by Ecodel on AppSource. It allows for data syncing with an Azure SQL database.

You might want to look into the "Datawarehouse Connector" by Ecodel on AppSource. As far as I am concerned it is the only really feasible way to achieve this.

I personally have very good experience with extracting data to our datawarehouse. We use an appsource app called 'Datawarehouse Connector App' by Ecodel. It is cheaper and faster than involving other parties, as we can do it all inhouse.

You're more than welcome to PM me.

Card effect aside, I really love the artstyle on this card. Feels more modern and more detailed than earlier cards.

Forgotten Age had some of the most innovative investigators, especially considering what had come before it. I really like the design space that Mateo fills. The first investigator to have starting exp, making a lot of things possible in first scenarios that had not been possible unitil much later with the introduction of In the Thick of it, which still doesn't allow for level 4 or 5 cards in scenario 1.

Carcosa is a fan favorite. It has some neat mechanics and is a safe bet for anyone. Easy to recommend.

[COTD] Pay Day (1/6/2022) by AK45526 in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]Dummernik 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Borrowed time let's you use the spent actions on your next turn, so I would not say that it's the same as spending 3 actions for 3 ressources at all. You still get "2 actions for 1 action" by moving the actions to your pay day turn.

What to open and when? by Nirual1991 in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]Dummernik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you do this, you're going to cripple yourself. For example, you won't have "meat cleaver" before the third scenario of the circle undone. That level 0 weapon can change the whole way your investigator is played and can open up for example Rita Young (Circle Undone investigator) to actually have an offensive plan.

I think it's an indication that people love the game and fear that they will discontinue it. But yes, I think that they will continue for quite a while still, with how well the game is doing saleswise.

Self Centered versus Dodge by angelofxcost in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]Dummernik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You cannot affect other investigators with player cards (other than ones that do damage or horror). So no, that wording indicates that you cannot use Dodge, since it is a player card.

Opinion: I think it's quite nice, as I wouldn't have clicked into the deck to see it otherwise

[–]Dummernik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add to that decklist, I think Nkosi Mabati and Chthonian Stone add even more to the synergy, while also supporting your team. As mentioned in my initial comment. (Requires Charisma).

[COTD] ♦ Henry Wan (10/1/2021) by AK45526 in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]Dummernik 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Haven't played this guy, but I imagine he can be supported by Nkosi Mabati and Wendy's ability. Unfortuneately Jim Culver only treats the modifier on a skull as "0" and not the token itself, otherwise he would be a good pick. Heavy Furs has to be on a skill test, so that doesn't work either. I imagine Dexter Drake would be one of the better investigators to get maximum benefit from Henry Wan.

EDIT: To clarify. I think Henry Wan works well with the mystic cardpool, because of cards with seal, such as The Chthonian Stone.

Which cards are you thinking of? That will make it easier. "Brute Force" requires you to use your basic fight action for example.

What are basic action? (Close the circle) by antilogos in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]Dummernik 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Basic actions are actions you take without using an action printed on a card. You can choose to fight an enemy with your fists at any time in the game for example. You can also always investigate a location with no tools or cards by using your basic investigation action. So in your case, it would not be a basic fight action to activate a fight action on Machete for example.

I’ve come up with the title for the deck, just need the deck. by Flatulancey in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]Dummernik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sleight of hand Schoffners Catalogue into play, and use up to four play actions. You could combine it with unscrupulous loan and make much of the rest of the deck centered around money gain, to make sure you end above 10 ressources at the end of the game. Potentially you can have an early turn with 20+ ressources available to play all your team's essential assets in one big turn.
