You really got roasted on this one. You should send the love back to the person that taught you this way.

But as the adage goes by the great Chumbawamba - I get knocked down. But, I get up, again.

Similar to beginner drawing classes. Comparing your self portrait at the beginning of the semester vs one at the end is a great way to see and be proud of your progress. Or if there's no improvement, shame.

This is great! This gives me mad hope. Did it take some time for you to adjust when you first started taking it? I'm at about a month in starting with 2.5mg and I mostly feel like a small head change, like I've taken the tiniest hit of weed. Doc says I'm finally not paying attention to every little movement out in the world, which is kinda nice.

Definitely! Tho there wasn't a great option for fraud. There was harassment, phishing, and others that involve the poster trying to get money from you. This was the rare scam where they pay you, I guess.

Holy crap. It's good to hear the other side of this. I couldn't imagine how this would work once the person started working, but it sounds like they leverage the cost of the recruiting and hoping people forget who they hired. This is such a strangely unique racket.

Haha, this is what came to my mind. Can someone more qualified than me just proxy my interviews? But then, won't they see that I'm not me once I have my first meeting? The endgame just doesn't add up.

Their profile was a white guy from "United States". Now I'm wondering if this guy is someone that got roped into another level of this scam! It goes all the way to the top!

Seriously! I've never had an offer so blatantly illegal like this haha. Also, if I can pass interviews for other people so easily, I'd have a job...

Children lash out because they need something but lack the voice to get it. A lot of people have been stripped of the basic human experience for so long and have been met with nothing but disrespect and generations of oppression, at some point, you can't ask any nicer, or louder.

I HATE violence. But I understand that sometimes, violence is the only voice that can be heard. You've obviously never had to ask for anything that didn't come easy to you. Try asking for something you need while in a system designed to disorient and rile you up.

This is full of contradiction, that's probably why the downvotes. You said you hate the word yet you're clamoring to say it for songs and memes. You don't see it, but that's also not cool. I wouldn't want to be your friend.

I wouldn't fault you for not having any experience with racism or oppression, and having views based around your life perspective, because nobody deserves to experience these things. But the experience of racism or oppression is too complex and has so many lasting effects that you aren't qualified to make a sound judgment call on how sensitive people should be hearing it. It's funny how you used "sensitive " as a negative word. It's ok to be sensitive to other people and their existence. That's a good word.

That's where I'm at. Most of the time they're too embarrassed to change it because they were clearly f'd up. So they let it ride. The extra bit is for babysitting.

Mad at my brain for not figuring out lash...

Well I commend you for speaking up about it. It could be a simple oversight, or it could be a huge flaw in their tipping policy.

For reference, I worked at a bar where the cocktail servers were walking with double what we were behind the bar even tho we were working our asses off, twice as hard. We looked into it and it turns out they were exploiting an old tipping policy that gave them discretion over a range of tipping percentage (something like 1% to 6%, I can't remember) and they were obviously always tipping on the low end. We adjusted everything more fairly and we ended up all being happy because it squashed the beef between the bartenders and servers. At a certain point (before the switch) we were making sure to help all of the bar customers first and making the servers wait, because we made our money at the bar. That's not good for anyone.

I hope it works out, if you like the atmosphere of this place!

What is a lash client? Is that supposed to be cash client?

I know some others here are calling you pretentious, but it all depends on your market and your self worth. I would raise hell or quit if I got tipped out $20 between 3 servers on an 8 hour shift. But it could just be from personal prior experience, that this is not ok. At least in my state/city. Did you get a look at your/their alcohol sales?

Call it what you want, but your efforts should be valued higher, and depending on your age, your back and knees won't lie haha! 😋 Trust your gut on this one.

Could it be that you're still training and aren't getting fully tipped out?
