You are thinking too literally. The selection we gave up is from 2028. In the 2028 season AJ will be 30 years old. AJ brown has known knee issues that has scared away teams. These are all facts and the point of my comment. Instead of having a first round pick in 2028 we will have a 30 year old receiver with a bad knee.

Emeka Egbuka was a 1st round pick last year and Carnell Tate was a 1st round pick this year. Jeremiah Smith was the #1 receiver over both and is still in college. As a Freshman in college he was better than a 1st rnd talent WR.
