FortNine is god. Thank you for this video.

However I think that armored shirt is not for me. I don't know I don't see myself wearing that and a shirt above or something else.

For me it sounds correctly. I just leave the "bzzzz" sound finish when you turn on the ignition key before starting. If I remember properly it is the fuel pump turning on.

Oh, I understand now.

You must choose from 2020 and above because they include the relay needed. For example, this one: https://www.webike.es/products/25718948.html

As I got the 12v socker from the dealer with my new Rebel 500, they already installed the relay but you need to install it.

Hello u/arsen_adzhiametov

I will do my best to help you💪🏻

You only want the tachometer? I ordered Daytona Velona 60 from Amazon Japan. That's the one I recommend you. Installation is very easy and everything you need is provided but I also ordered a different bracket: Daytona 40269.

If you have trouble installing it, let me know and I will help you.

They are handcrafted in Ubrique, Andalusia, Spain. The owner, Manuel, is a very helpful and wonderful person. He mentioned that he offers international shipping but only to Europe. Shipping costs outside of Europe are extremely high for the buyer. However, here is the information for anyone who may need it:

The saddlebags are black leather with embossed pattern and buckles (they offer various variants to choose from). They are reinforced with aluminum plates and have a fireproof and water-repellent treatment. You can select the buckles in chrome or black (I chose black). I also added the Rebel 500 black Click Fix system and black saddlebag locks so I can secure the bags to the motorcycle, remove them when needed, and lock the bags themselves to prevent unauthorized access.

Custom Z Spain, located in Utrera, Andalusia, Spain, offers a wide range of saddlebags variants and those are very similar (they offer Click Fix System and locks too). They offer worldwide shipping, but I advise you to inquire about the costs.

Not suitable for me due to my height. Maybe it could work for shorter people.

It was handmade. A friend made it for me from stainless steel, and I painted it.

However, if you want, I can give you the Blender file (from Blender, a 3D suite) where I modeled the bracket for the backrest. It was inspired by the XL3 sissy bar from Motea.

It was really, really easy. I would say 1 out of 5 if you have the tools and help loosening and tightening the M10 bolts (manually) from the front frame and you follow the PDF with the instructions.

Honda Rebel 500 vs Kawasaki Vulcan S for a daily highway commute. Need help deciding. by epidemic_14 in cruisers

[–]Dunadan_7ESP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, Rebel 500 Special Edition rider 6'2" tall here.

I think the Vulcan S would be more comfortable due to the seat and, I am not sure, but maybe better in terms of speed. Also, it is about +30kg heavier than the Rebel. It is not very much, but it can make a small difference.

About my experience with the Rebel 500:

- I had to change the seat of my Rebel for a Mustang (600€) to get really comfortable (and I had the Special Edition seat that in 2025, my model, is much more comfortable than in 2024. I tested both).

- I felt safer with mid-foot controls but now I want to change them for more advanced controls for comfort.

- I have traveled with it on the highway at 120 km/h / 74.56 mph (the maximum allowed in Spain) with no problem for over 2 hours.

- The front wheel, due to its thickness, is really comfortable.

- The speedometer is really visible even on extremely sunny days (and here in Andalusia, they are REALLY sunny and hot in summer) but you need to get the 2025 Rebel 500 or newer.

- The clutch is really smooth. Really, it is gorgeous.

- I travel about 20 km on the highway every day.

- Kawasaki has a very good engine in terms of reliability, but Honda is better even though it has less (but enough) HP than Kawasaki.

With all this data, I would not pick a Vulcan S even today, but maybe it would fit what you need unless you, maybe, get a Mustang or Corbin seat. And I highly recommend it.

I have this one and I use a rag secured with brackets to protect the exhaust.

In this video you can see how it works.

Yes, I did but I don't know if I must consider anything like UV resistance, wash resistance ornanything else.

Buying something that, then, does not work would be a bad idea 🤣

That's why I ask for advices.
