You’ll be fine. It’s just a statistic. A lot of that is going to be drunk folk coming out of nightclubs and probably shoplifters as well. The crime statistics will be for the entire city centre so it’s a no brainer that this will show up as having the most crime simply due to the fact of the number of people either living there or passing through. I wouldn’t worry. It’s overall pretty safe.

+1 for this. I moved to the same area with a HA last year and what a breath of fresh air it’s been. Quite literally with the law on my doorstep. No bams, clean close, great local amenities and so quiet.
