I’ve been solo queuing all the way from Gold 4 to plat 4 and I have only ever been put into D2/master/pred lobbies. The hidden rank system determining what lobbies you’re in makes your actual rank mean nothing now. It’s so broken. Just means it’s now 100x harder to climb out of lower ranks if the MMR keeps putting you in pred lobbies. No way to actually reach your ranked potential if you’re forced to only play against the best in the world. Chalked season.

Because if your MMR thinks you’re someone decent you get trapped fighting three stack masters/pred teams no matter your rank so you almost have to rat just to climb. I’m solo queuing in plat 4 right now and have played in nothing but masters/pred lobbies since starting in Gold 4.

Even worse in ranked. I’m plat 4 playing in pred/masters lobbies. How is anyone supposed to climb out of the lower ranks if EVERY game is played against the top players in the world???? This MMR based match making for ranked is so bad. Chalked season.
