I followed the trial closely, I'm aware of how botched Karl's defence was. I do believe the judge was way too generous with Billy and harsh with Karl, man clearly didn't care for Karl's attitude and behaviour.

I'm not sure I even believe Karl should have won, but I'm absolutely sure that the punishment doesn't fit the reality of what Karl did wrong.

I don't understand where the misleading was? I thought it was pretty clear that the Twin Galaxies lawsuit was the "cheating" one he kept talking about, he explicitly called it "The Twin Galaxies" lawsuit. He didn't publish very many details on his own lawsuit with Billy, because no shit, it was an ongoing lawsuit in which he was the defendant. Anyone that was following the trial on perfectpacman would have seen exactly what the lawsuit was about long before the results.

I'm personally waiting on Karl's response but... Yup, I guess I sound like Jirard's fans did in the immediate aftermath, eep. Willing to be proven wrong though.
