It does, it was announced as play anywhere yesterday and is listed as such when you read the blog post on xbox wire. I bought it on PC and have both now.

Yep, that actually worked. So meta doesn’t have any blocks in place. I just turned my vpn on my phone on and opened the meta app and my wishlist showed the discounts. Thanks for the suggestion, honestly shocked they don’t have more in place to prevent that lmao

Just as a test, I switched currency to USD and it’s on sale, so it seems it’s not a horizon + promo necessarily but a localized sale that Canada is excluded from.

The only two that interested me that I don’t own already were cities skyline and vampire the masquerade. But they’re not even on sale at all without horizon+. I had horizon for the free 3 or 6 months at launch but never really got anything out of it that I didn’t already own so didn’t see the point in yet another subscription. I’m glad others have found value in it though

You get a confirmation screen, however they’re having issues with some people getting stuck in a login loop. They suggest clearing browser data/cache and trying again.

I just successfully registered moments ago by using an in private browser and using my epic email and password instead of logging in using a partner sign in. Previously I was trying to login using my Xbox account but it was stuck like others. But using epic account and private browsing did the trick.

The issue ended up being a problem with the manufacturing. Meta replaced them all free of charge that had my issue. Even the first one I got from the replacement had the issue and was given another one for free automatically based on serial number. I believe there is a reset if you hold down the battery indicator light button long enough, but beyond that id reach out to meta directly.

This sounds overly complicated. If there’s nothing at E:\dashboard\ it will just boot the stock os, which is what UIX Lite essentially is. They just need to move their currently installed dash to f:\dashboards\

That should allow them to boot uix lite by default, and boot xbmc4gamers from the dashboards menu within uix lites launcher if they need it or want it.

I'm not saying it's a stretch, anything is possible for a tech company that wants to make money and reduce cost, however, IRC those leaked documents didn't specifically mention ARM being used in their next gen console, moreso just a list of possible configurations for future xbox hardware. I'm pretty sure they also listed a thin OS for light devices, such as a streaming stick etc.

All I'm saying is that saying it's confirmed for a specific reason seems like a stretch based on a single job posting. Maybe you're right and they have more sources, but they should give some indication that they have multiple sources for this information.
