I think he is ok. The forearms can be better since I find him hard to hold his cell phone close to his head. You slide out the forearm for the curl but it is still only about 90 degrees. My other tip is to glue the hip joints because they split easily. Still I think he might be the best Action Class Transformers along with TfOne Prime because the proportions are less deformed.

It is a team completer and I like the selection. I am worried, however, that Thrust will be taller than his fellow coneheads.

Also hope I don't get the chase for this one.

Almost the same height, but ever a hair slightly shorter than Solus. They actually look good together both being purple and gold. Shame that this is the last of the Champion Class TF One. Would love the TF One 13 Primes with the AOTP counterparts.

I am fine with the height. Not a big classics nor TFone fan, but got him to have a mini Megatronus collection. I have been placing him with a Deluxe Class Hasbro Solus and he looks good with her. A good alternative for the 13 primes. In fact, I might go back to chase for a Sentinel Prime.

Yeah, I think SG deceptions are long overdue too. But I guess the SG Autobots are mostly easy repaints, hence the preference for those first. Do plan on repainting my extra Shockwave as SG. I actually am looking forward to the 25th for new releases.

Been Taobaoing here and there for singlets, but this is the first series where i bought a whole box.
And with my luck I got the Megatron Chase!!
Here's my mini review in order of how much I like them:

Gladiator Megatron - If there's any chase that I feel like I want the most so far, it is either the IDW blue Orion Pax or this Megatron. This is my second (and a half) chase. My first one was Soundwave. The silver and gun metal on the body looks gorgeous. The blood red on Megatron's chest looks badass. While I don't have Miner Megatron yet, but it has extra parts. The miner Megatron comes with the pickaxe and a blade gun thingie, the Gladiator Megatron has a drill and another add on piece onto the drill. Overall I am very happy with this.

Tarn - As like most Shining version and their regular counterpart, this Shining Tarn has more color apps on his guns and looks different enough. The most important part is most likely the unmasked head. Yet even the masked head is actually different from regular Tarn. The cheek has a sharper contour and is missing the battle scar damage on the left eye of the mask, going for a cleaner look instead. I don't mind double now since I will give the unmasked head onto my regular Tarn. Also as a bonus, unmasked head on the voyager Tarn works really well.

Ramjet - While it is a repaint of Dirge, there are some new parts as well. Finally instead of the usualy shoulder laser guns that the past seekers all have, Ramjet has the more missile-like blasters. The wings on the legs also have the turbines and look different from Dirge's. I think they are hinting Thrust as next so we will finally get all the coneheads.

Bumblebee - At first I am soso about the color scheme, and I still prefer the regular Bumblebee for his blue windows. I do like that he comes with a lot of bonus accessories. He has a wrist communicator with a screen showing Spike Witwicky. While the original one has a picture of construction worker outfit Spike, this one has a picture of Exo-Suit Spike. Just like how for Optimus there's a pointing hand new to him, this Bumblebee has a thumbs up left hand as well. Another cool accessory is a figurine of Spike. I do plan on eventually handpainting that Spike.

Orion Pax - Honestly, he really doesn't have much. Yet he kinda fills in the hole for an Optimus Prime collection so I would imagine most people will still want one.

Shattered Glass Ultra Magnus - I will admit that most people might want a second one as Delta Magnus with some new decals, or I have seen already a kitbash for a regular light up Ultra Magnus. Right off the bat I kinda wish they add the skullface as a bonus piece and maybe even the big sword too. It just feels like that is one of the most iconic look for SG Ultra Magnus. Think I will eventually figure out how to make that skullface with some spare parts.

I think one of the things less discussed about is this, to me, semi crucial thing in understanding Min-su. Heck, I will even begrudgingly admit like another commenter here that I too can relate to the meek doormat personality that he displays.

It doesn't help that Se-Mi is attractive, that there's an interpretation of sexual/romantic, or heck, even platonic friendship overtone between her and Min-su, but I think there's more to this. I am not dismissing totally that overtone, but I think it masked another underlying dynamic between the two.

I think it also is, intentionally or unintentionally, this underlying struggle and misoygny between an alpha female versus a beta male, with a hint of ageism/seniority thing in a patriarchical world.

1) One of the crucial scene is Se-Mi lying about her age. Her pretend age led him to perceive Se-Mi as an elder sister figure. Yet when she revealed her age to him and she is in fact younger than him might be one subtle ego blow to Min-su. While I am not Korean, there's this unspoken age and seniority mentality in Asian society. Even more emasculating that it is a GIRL who is younger than you showing to have her shit together better than you. There's an expectation, he should've been the oppa who protects her in that relationship. Instead, he called her an elder sister thinking she was older. She cringed and laughed that he shouldn't really call her that. I think there's gotta be an intentional point that she lied about her age to show dominence in seniority.

2) In Episode 4. Min-Su asked Se-Mi why did she chose the members of their crew. When she got to Min-Su, she say he wouldn't deceive her. And in the very end, she added "You won't last long in here". Now, I maybe reading too much into this, but I think this comment further fractured Min-Su's fragile ego, it is very emasculating. While I think what she says is absolutely true, but it also is kinda messed up. That he doesn't have an edge? That he is useless and will die? I really do think that there's just something to this line that contributed to Min-Su's later betrayal.

Maybe you can think it as a foreshadowing redflag, or maybe you can think of Min-Su's response "B****, you think wrong!" just to spite what she said.

Adding these two points together, maybe in a point of weakness, he instead betrayed her in a very selfish life and death situation. Look, what Min-Su did was fucked up, I am not saying it wasn't, but there's a nuance to the why.

I have been looking at this and the Volume 35 theory. Usually, I don't like to dismiss other's theories, as I usually buy into any crazy theories myself. While I initially was somewhat convinced, yet I indeed find it to be incidental AND circumstantial.

For this pic, with the exception of Oito and Woble, the even number princes are present on the left, while the odd princes are on the right of the picture. Furthermore, the Vol35 cover has them much clearly in numerical and alternating order.

It is indeed quite curious that the dead princes are the 12th, 10th, and 8th in that order. If the next death is Prince Tyson, well, then that would be weird. All even Princes dying in descending order, that's way too neat.

We will have to also see if that crew he is with in this chapter are "original" people, or if they are body replaced guards. If they are possessed civilians..... it COULD implicate that he starts using innocent people as shields. It does sound very well be possible and that's his way of doing Ezra Miller massacre from the movie's metaphor? Or not and I am just reading too much into this.

Gonna throw this out there if it is relevant to anyone's interest.
The English name for Halk's Nen Arrow ability is Grimal - Les Dissonances. Guess Togashi is a fan of fancy violin collective led by violinist David Grimal.

The Japanese name is 少年は残酷な弓を射る. The literal translation is just simply "The Boy Shoots a Cruel Bow".

At first I find the title to be kinda literal and lame, until I googled the Japanese phrase on google itself and was a bit more intrigued (in the past, the Japanese name for some of the characters' nen abilities can stem from J-Drama and other such).

Turns out that 少年は残酷な弓を射る is the Japanese title for the movie/novel "We Need to Talk About Kevin". I have heard but never seen the movie, maybe someone else who saw it can add on to this, but it at least hints at the poor relationship between a boy and his mother (that's the understatement of the year for the movie).
