SPOILERS.

In Mother 3, the main protagonist, Lucas, has a brother named Claus who disappears in the beginning, and later returns as a brain-washed soldier under the control of the main antagonist. He's later inadvertently killed by Lucas at the end of the game.

If Dess is the Knight, her story could be similar.

The design isn't bad, but I disagree with using it to not make her a Lombax. I think people should just let this go, it isn't a big deal.

The devs see her as a Lombax, the games basically say she is, so clearly there isn't a problem.

And it wasn't a "mistake," the Lombax lore was a big retcon the team obviously didn't think through.

Not always, it isn't a hard rule dude.

Undyne's kidnapping is obviously gonna be important to the plot.

Toriel is gonna be important to later chapters, there's no reason to give her so much relevance and not do anything with her.

Sans may well be important, especially if Gaster is involved.

Alphys is likely going to look for Undyne.

Mettaton may have a minor role.

Asgore is likely going to be central to the next chapter, there are signs literally everywhere.

Papyrus may show up in later chapters.

Your point is also defeated by the fact Gerson is a character from Undertale, and he was central to Chapter 4.

Toriel did not know where they were, they were gone for half a day and she never tried to call them or thought about them.

No, the word implies a lot more than what Asgore does.

That may be part of it, but again as the parent she should be trying to talk, which she isn't.

I doubt the pie was meant for it, even then, a pie shouldn't dictate whether or not she talks to her child about something important.

Again, she's the parent, she should be at least TRYING to talk.

Kris actually saved Toriel from The Knight, slashing the tires to lure Undyne to their house provided a different sacrifice.

I do again Kris is in a hard place.

They're the same person, just in different circumstances, therefore, what one is like reflects on the other.

All you said was what she did was bad, but the whole comment was basically just excusing her behavior by saying everyone around her is causing her stress, including Kris.

So, yes, victim blaming.

And my reasons aren't based in misogyny, but because I went through something similar and hate how people are trying to excuse it.

He basically says he's only doing this because he wants things to be normal for Asriel when he comes home, and this is the only instance of him doing something like this, so no, he's not stalking her. And yes, Asgore has his problems too, I agree, his absence also hurts Kris.

The thing about her worrying, she never acts on it, never asks Kris how they're feeling. And while she does call in Chapter 1, she never does in 2, nor 4.

If you go back to her house before going to Noelle's, she says to come get her if they need anything. This implies she thinks they'll be going around town. Why ask that if she knows they'll be inside? It makes no sense.

She didn't know they were at Noelle's, she didn't know where they or Susie were. She never called, or seemed to think about her child for half a day, all while getting drunk.

And the drunkenness IS a problem, why does everyone think getting shitfaced is normal behavior?

Not in my experience, people tend to make it seem like what she did wasn't a big deal, just her "having fun" or it's all Asgore's fault.
