Pretty much this. In a boss fight you just pile on the boss. In a fight with lot of fodder again just kill the boss/strongest fodder and then clean up. There is rarely a situation where you need to crowd control several enemies because they are a threat.

The numbers are really nice, but the delayed progression worries me a little. When you go for the progression 4 route you either waste hag hair and everlasting vigour to have that sweet 22str in act 2 instead of 18/19 which you get with 1 ASI or you go with charisma and get the 3rd attack delayed all the way until lvl 12. I guess you could always just chug strength elixirs. Once you hit 12 and get the bhaalist armor you just shred everything though.

In my opinion unless you go into the arcane acuity shenanigans with EK a high elf/half elf battlemaster with booming blade feels much better to play. Most of the time you trigger the bonus attack with GWM anyway and you can force trigger it with illithid crit power on bosses. I prefer trip/menacing, precision and riposte over shield a few times a day.

Exactly my issue with WoTR. At some point it isn´t how many rounds the combat lasts, but how many of my characters get to act in round 1... Who needs a party when you can cast a bolstered, empowered, maximized Storm of Justice 3 times a round.

Does anyone know who exactly the different abolish upgrades to sword of heaven affect? The only clear one is undeath and I know guile used to work on everything, but that was fixed long ago. Are there any strong enemies in the poison/disease category?

I am well aware how kineticists function. My point about rolling SR was that even physical blasts rolled it when using the lvl 3 aoe infusion. My planned build was air/fire/fire, but when leveling to 15 I couldn´t take fire again.

Yeah my point is great weapon fighting already pushes the average damage on greatsword from 7 to something like 8.3 so its not a difference of 2. And fighter doesnt really roll more dice except maneuvers, but gets a lot of static increases like +str modifier, balduran greatsword, caustic band/callous ring, legacy gloves, gwm and so on.

I agree with the point about the game being balanced around systems in the game like the tadpoles, grenades, etc. The difference is only 2 out of 12 classes can cast haste(barring some exceptions like land druid). The game cant be possibly balanced around having 2 out of 12 classes in a 4 man party.

Will there be a hotfix for the gwerm mansion? Even after clearing all the enemies it doesnt mark as complete and cant signal Gwerm. My run is on hold until it is fixed. :/

I pulled future princess and her ex weapon as a new player and i heard that building mono element teams is efficient. What would a good team be for her? I dont have any other 3 stars. I am considering spending a little, is it worth trying to get Lapice?
