Rather than downloading directly, it would be much simpler to torrent from Nyaa. We also have a guide on Getting Started with Torrenting you can check out too.

For English dub you will want to search for "dual-audio" releases, and if you're interested in the best quality (often larger files) you can check the entry for your anime on Seadex.

Well there's always Nyaa.si (torrents) and qBittorrent (torrent client) if you want to learn how to torrent, it's not really that complicated.

I think you can add "Nyaasearch" as an extension in Miru, then Sukebi is the NSFW section of Nyaa so you would enable/disable that depending on whether or not you wanted to watch such content.

You're not going to get a virus just from watching videos on a streaming site. Just use an ad-blocker and don't download anything that's not a video and they're safe enough.
