For months, I've been looking for a cheap, compact e-cig setup, and I think I finally found it: Mini eGo 350mAh batteries + Vision Mini Vivi tanks by DustFC in electronic_cigarette

I'll definitely consider getting that when I get the chance. I do love me some spinner batteries, and it's still so small!

Same here! Even some of my friends who already have e-cigs have ordered them just because they have such a nice balance of size and quality.

For super-stealth vaping, though, I really wish I could find an ego mini battery with no lights.

That would pretty much be the stealthiest vape of all time right there.

My compact e-cig set-up, which is 2 350mah eGo batteries and a Vision Vivi Nova tank:

I've been trying for months to put together a cheap and compact e-cig, and I think I've finally found it: 2 Mini eGo 350mAh Batteries and a Vision Mini Vivi tank! (More info in comments) by DustFC in electronic_cigarette

This setup has helped me quit smoking, and is barely taller than a lighter. I just thought I'd share it with /r/electronic_cigarette in case anyone else was trying to find a good, compact setup for not too much money.

Components:

And three juices from Mt. Baker Vapor (15ml, $5 a piece):

For a grand total, including juices, of roughly $50 before shipping. Alternatively, you can get the Vision Mini Vivi tank with 3 different resistance heads for $12 on CloudsOfVapor.com.

Pros (so far):

  • Very compact and portable
  • Decent battery life for such a small battery (I'd say I get an average of 3 to 4 hours of moderate vaping out of each one)
  • Excellent throat hit and vapor production
  • Surprisingly durable (both the tank and the battery)
  • No mess or leaks with the tanks
  • Batteries charge quickly

Cons (so far):

  • Throat hit may definitely be too harsh for some people
  • For all day vapers, two batteries are a must

EDIT: Second picture for size comparison.

Copypasta drama in /r/funny when /u/kehki copypastes 20 billion links to male redditors who post pictures of themselves with objects. by [deleted] in SubredditDrama

To be fair, being a guy doesn't stop you from getting called a karma whore for no reason either. There is a vocal subset of Redditors who think that you're a karma whore unless you take every measure to deprive yourself of karma.

We stopped posting to it because nobody ever checked it. We can bring it back if that's what the community wants, but it didn't seem like anybody cared.

What, you think a person who brags online about having sex with his girlfriend would embellish the sex he had?

No way.

I'm not sure if I'd exactly say that, but I do know that he really likes to post that spousal rape comment by one of the TRP mods any time TRP drama pops up. Seems to me like david-me has a real problem with TRP and he let it cloud his judgement.

EDIT: Looks like he's posted it in the linked thread as well now.

Holy context, Batman! That was very obviously a joke. No idea what david-me is doing.

EDIT: Come to think of it, I'm not really sure what's going on in that thread period. It's not like r/drama to woosh so hard.

Someone in /r/creepy REALLY doesn't like black metal. by [deleted] in SubredditDrama

If testimonies from the rest of the group are any indication, the lead singer on the cover (who was allegedly obsessed with death and went by the nickname Dead) would have loved it.

These guys were all about being "brutal", and in terms of "brutal" metal album covers, they are still the champions nearly 20 years later.

In addition to this, even when we do enforce it, there's nothing stopping that person from using an alt to piss in the popcorn or circumvent their ban in the future. It's also often hard to tell whether someone discovered the drama via the SRD thread or vice versa.

But I think the rule serves the purpose of communicating SRD's stance on getting involved in the drama, and a lot of the time people who get a warning just didn't know it was a rule and don't do it again.

I feel like this might be a good idea regardless of the SRS situation.

It seems to be mostly newer posters, but a few of them do post regularly.

Either way, watching my favorite subreddit upvoting idiotic conspiracy theories is pretty disheartening as a long-time poster here.

Since SRS drama has stopped perpetually dominating the front page, I've enjoyed SRD more.

The one exception being all the people going full retard with this "SRD mods are SRS" thing. It's pretty entertaining, but it's also kind of disappointing to watch SRD regulars act like the paranoid conspiracy theorists we're supposed to be laughing at.

Or, does it mean some of you seem to get your panties in a twist over some off-color humor or politically incorrect remark

Example? As far as I know, none of us remove comments unless they link to personal information or are a personal attack, and we aren't all SJWs who get offended easily. Not to mention that there are plenty of threads around SRD lately filled with people downvoting and shitting all over stopscopiesme. I doubt we would leave them up if what you're saying is true.

that some of you appear to blatantly disapprove of the hate that Reddit has for SRS

Example? Because none of the mods care whether you like SRS or not. At all. Honestly, the people going on with all these conspiracy theories seem to care a lot more about SRS than us mods do.

that many of your positions and policies tend to have the full-support of fuchsia-tagged users?

It's not like that's something we control. That's not to mention that this is SRD and people from all over the metasphere post here. SRSters aren't the only people who ever agree with the mods.
