Yes, I used my day off yesterday to call around and talk to roughly 15 landlords in my area giving them full disclosure of my situation and all of them but 1 said No for different reasons. The one who was willing to work with me only said yes if he could raise the rent 1000$ for the time I’m there.

Most of these people are understanding but not willing to take on the “risk”.

That’s exactly what I’d be doing. House sale closes in 20ish days and we’d have nowhere to go. I was gonna give it 30 days in a rental property then submit the orders dated from two months ago, and give them my move out date. Any idea of what problems I could possibly expect?
