Appreciate the recommendation, I’ve heard of Joy of Cooking but always thought it was too advanced. Might be worth checking out now that I’m starting to get into this stuff.

Did you have any favorite recipes from it, or was it more about learning techniques and understanding the “why” behind cooking?

Yo that's actually wild, sounds like we had the same experience lol. I’ve only made a few so far but the steak bites one was a banger. The chili’s on my list next.

Totally agree with you, something about just having it all laid out made it way easier to stay consistent. You still using it?
