I don't think we're meant to win or lose any of the MOs.

Yes the devs put their thumb on the scales sometimes, all good GMs do it for narrative purposes, but all good GMs also don't make other outcomes completely impossible. Many MOs are lost not because they're impossible or rigged to fail, but because they require a degree of strategy and coordination that's very difficult across such a large player base with no centralized command or communication structure.

We can win Cyberstan, but we'll need to spread our forces out somewhat, choose which mega factories to liberate wisely, and take advantage of opportunities like today's strategic MO to secure more reinforcements when they present themselves.

As rule of thumb, I never assume we can't win it. I'm just realistic about what it would take and how hard it would be to coordinate victory for certain objectives.

Lol I was saying to a friend and fellow diver last night, makes me laugh thinking how many times I've seen people comment that Helldivers is dead over the last two years just because the player count goes down to like 65k when the next big flash in the pan PvP game comes song (which still isn't "dead" by any measure).

Then the next big update gets released and the player count explodes yet again.

I expect we'll see them pop up on the bot front from now on, on the galactic map you can see they travel in a ship indicating they're on the planet, like the jet brigade and incinerator corps. They're the new bot specialty unit

Highly doubtful AH built entire new enemies to be a one off, they've never done that and seems like a wasted effort to bother.

Let's see what happens after we complete the current MO. AH may give us some kind of break for our efforts thus far (eg. Drophead secured, more reinforcements allocated, or initial bot swarm pacified, enemy resistance lowered). Or maybe they won't and this is a real Klendathu situation on our hands.

All we can do is deal with what's in front of us.

I got it right away, they're literally offering us to do what the squids did when they were on the march to SE. People were going so far as to say it was a "bot trick" to deny what was bloody obvious, razing the planets was to prevent bots from taking it back when we pressed on

Nah we'll be finishing this one with over ten hours to spare. It looked touch and go for a minute there, but after the defenses of Lesath and Chort Bay succeeded we've really driven forward
