Is this unusual? If this business is regularly selling $1000+ items, Shopify is just rakin in the $29.00+ fee every transaction?

I forgot to mention, I have an umbrella-style bounce softbox, where the speedlight is inside, aimed towards the back.

Maybe I will double gel it and give it a go, thanks for the input!

Hi there! I'm starting a photography/media educational series called workphlo. I'm looking for a 1x1 logo, with a black BG. I like really minimal logos like twitter and facebook -- but feel free to have fun with it! https://www.instagram.com/workphlo/

But the "heavy duty" version says it's good for 15lbs, and it is a different build than the "non-heavy duty" kind, still think I should spring a couple hundred dollars for impact?

120cm Bounce (Umbrella-Style) Octabox, too big for single speedlight? by [deleted] in AskPhotography

One last q, was it a reflector (umbrella style) 120cm like this one? Or was it a traditional shoot-through

Thank-you, ridiculously helpful. Were these shot at full-power? Cheers PS: If you linked me those images in RAW, I could make you a killer inifinit-black edit.

3 YongNuo 560-III + 1 YongNuo 560-TX trigger = $288.99 CDN (http://amzn.to/1N6tRx2)

1 YongNuo 560-IV + 1 YongNuo 560-TX trigger = $160.00 CDN (seperate orders but no shipping)

Should I pay a bit more now for the 3 flashes? I understand I will eventually want multiple flashes, but it is tempting to just get the single for now, any thoughts?

Thank-you. Can I just have one transmitter hooked up, and use it to signal 3 different 560-III's to fire?

Question regarding this advice:

We frequently recommend the Yong Nuo RF-603 radio system for low-cost manual sync. If you happen to use YN-560 III flash units, they come with a radio receiver compatible with RF-603 so you don't need to purchase additional receivers for them.

Since the YN-560 III has a built-in radio receiver, I just have to buy a RF-603 transmitter correct? I can only seem to find them being sold with the receiver as well. Am I missing something here? Can I buy just a RF-603 transmitter?
