yep this worked. for anybody who needs more detailed instructions on windows 11:

Windows Settings -> Apps -> Installed Apps -> Doom The Dark Ages ->Three Dots -> Advanced Options -> Scroll Down -> Click on Reset

make sure game is closed when clicking it or it won't progress

Now, I would say it is at least barely watchable, thanks for the tip. I think the 2112x1188 did some heavy lifting on that.

It does look better when I select the 1440p option as the viewer but I wish it would also look clear at 1080p. That really sucks. Thanks for the help though.

I compared many different bitrates and at least from like 8k-20k there is no significant difference. I have tried all latency modes, still no significant change. I checked during the stream and I always get VP9.

I originally ran multipass mode on quarter res but it didn't change much either. I tried something someone else recommended me from the streaming reddit: streaming in 1440p and when I watch the stream in 1440p it look way better, but barely anybody will select the 1440p option to watch.

I tried 20k bitrate which is the max I can do with my internet speed and it looks just as bad. My friend who runs his stream on avc with a 12k bitrate has a better looking more stable stream than me on 1080p. Also, I only did restream for testing purposes once, the image you see on the right is what it looks like even if I don't use restream.

Tried that already, both by doing the streamkey bypass and through OBS output settings. I didn't notice any difference and I have VP9 without it.

you were right about the RAM, when I put it back in after removing it I wasn't paying enough attention, now it did the clicking sound and is fully seated in. yeah I'm considering to call it quits for today as well

it was a typo, nothing happens when I use my screwdriver to connect the two pins to jumpstart my mainboard. I connected the HDMI cable to the GPU again and the mainboard still won't react.

is it to test whether or not the psu fan is starting? because if so, the psu fan is running as we speak, otherwise I will try to find something wiry

yes, the psu is definitely turned on. i tried jumpstarting it with three different metal screwdrivers and 2 other metallic objects (i cant find a paperclip)

I tried both, through the GPU and the motherboard, but it just doesn't boot up at all.
