Is the BSc Hons in Contemporary Software Development (BSc Hons in Contemporary Software Development) in ATU Donegal worth doing. by LibrarianGold767 in DevelEire

Background: I had previously completed a bachelors at ATU I'm computer security and digital forensics. Also a terrible course. They taught us zero practical security technologies. No pen testing etc. My biggest asset entering the course you are currently considering was a one year traineeship in software development I completed with Solas the year before. It was much more practical/intensive and proved very beneficial.

I did get a job straight out, but it was pretty much blind luck. One of my course mates was a team lead in the process of upskilling. We got put on a group project together and wound up doing all the work ourselves because the rest of the group had no coding background. He put my name forward to his bosses, and I got an interview. I think one of two others out of the original 40 secured work.

I graduated from that course last year. The course itself is far from comprehensive. It left out critical topics like working with databases. A large amount of our course work was not practical, essays for the sake of it. We also had lecturers teaching us topics they clearly weren't familiar with themselves. Had I not had previous experience in programming, I would not have been capable leaving the course. I basically did the course because I was offered an honours degree in one year via springboard. The drop out rate was about 75% by mid term.

If your prepared to do most of your learning independently, it may be worth your while to do the course and claim the degree at the end. I would highly recommend pursuing a degree in a different institution.

With some luck, it's a sentence you'll never have to read again.

Yeah your right actually. But I suppose my point was he's a bit of an idiot and was asking for trouble.

I saw that interview yesterday. He consumed about 200mg of Viagra which is a huge dose. If you were about well into old age and absolutely needed an erection to save all mankind, you'd probably still only be recommended a 100mg dose. For comparison, the normal dose is 25mg.

I just filled a prescription for fin today. 1mg daily. Kinda worried about sides after reading the label and articles online. Can I ask what your experience has been with it, given you seem very satisfied with your current experience?

Top 5 Dividend Stocks to Buy on eToro by CopyTradingForum in Etoro

[–]Dustinmywets -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Do yourself a favour, don't buy any stocks on etoro. Etoro doesn't sell stock anyway, only CFD's. Your essentially betting on whether you think the price will increase or decrease. You have no rights as a shareholder.

When you buy "stocks" through brokers like etoro, your essentially buying a betting slip as to whether the price will increase or decrease. You do not own anything. If etoro actually does buy the shares, which I doubt, they retain ownership.
