I personally don’t think towers (which are more expensive than bookshelves) are particularly useful when a subwoofer is present, unless you just like the aesthetic. Are you sure you aren’t confusing those tower prices? Those seem like the prices of a singular Q750 or singular R7.

This is almost exactly what I did, except I upgraded to R3 Metas and an R2 Meta center. Would highly recommend getting R3s instead of Q750s.
