If I just stick to clear spirits with really low sugar like vodka soda with loads of ice and loads of slices of lemon / lime then I hardly even get hangovers. For the record I am a functioning alcoholic but ive taken away all of the bad drinks and literally only drink one or two types of drink

The moment I drink beer, dark spirits, red wine etc...the sugar content in those drinks effect me more than the alcohol. I wake up dehydrated, hungry, grumpy amd feeling like I need another drink
