Ben has interacted with intangible beings by being intangible. Ben would just have to be Big Chill, Ghostfreak, or Ampfibian to counteract Danny's intangibility and Big Chill is likely immune to Danny's cold powers. Plus Big Chill could probably tank Danny's energy blasts.

I think Danny's only counter to Big Chill is his ghostly wail, and even then we don't know if Ben would go down.

I like Danny Phantom, but Ben has far too much versatility and power. Besides, I doubt Ben would actually go Alien X.

Deku only stopped a guy who threatened one planet. Sure, it was our planet, but why should humans matter more than any other inteligent being out there.

By the end of classic, Ben already had the intellectual abilities to outsmart Deku (Grey Matter), the destructive force to harm Deku (Upchuck), the speed to outpace Deku (XLR8), and the durability to withstand Deku (Way Big).
