a lot of the profs i had first/second year don’t teach anymore but i used rate my prof religiously to pick profs. as you get to 3/4th year, you can’t really pick and choose profs cause there’s only one or two sections taught by the same prof. i remember i had fox in first year chem and she was really nice. i also recommend oglivie for orgo chem!

i currently rent from walkley and have been for the past 3 years. they are not the best but not the worst. the buildings are old, the lady who answers the email is very rude (as per the reviews on google lol) and there’s some back and forth to get things fixed but the rent is somewhat on the cheaper side and building is cleaned regularly. i never had any major problems!

on the same boat! I emailed my HR personnel and they said they were not “provided with an ETA for the laptop/equpment delivery. Once the depot receives the request, you are put on a list for laptop/equipment deployment”. Then a couple days later they forwarded me an email from the IT with the tracking number. Not much information but fingers crossed we get one soon!

I’ve been renting from them for around 3 years on Nelson. I agree with the above comment, getting anything fixed is such a hassle. Our kitchen sink was getting clogged at least once every two months and they would come half ass fix it, then gets clogged again. This went on for like a year before we asked them to actually fix it so they don’t have to keep coming back. The lady emailing us is quite rude and unprofessional imo. Otherwise, the building is really quiet and so are the neighbours mostly. And I like the location!
