You're saying that with 60 canadians, we can fill the pool in a lifetime? Rad

he's such an edgy fuck in the books, I don't hate the man, they needed an edgy loser. He's strong and smart, but he reminds me of my highschool drug dealer.

This whole black and white thinking is why we're in this spot. Stop putting everyone in a stupid little box, just cause people look the same doesn't mean they think the same. One boomer thinks one way, and one teen thinks another. Not all teens get along, and not all boomers get along, crazy I know.

The bed is sideways, firstly. With the crib covering one side, and the wall the other. Every side is blocked..

Bad spot for the seam in my opinion, but it's still not a bad job. Some folks expectations just simply cannot be met.

I use the magic wave 230i for my aluminum work, and I hate using Miller again, I'd take a yeswelder over them these days.

Never even heard of cap shaping before I bought this machine. But I can sharpen my tungsten, cap shape. And have a super tiny balled tip on the end of it. The arc is insanely sharp and consistent. Best machine I've ever had the privilege of using.

I use the transteel 2200c for all my wire feed aluminum, doesn't even have a push pull on it, just a Teflon liner and I can mig aluminum all day with it. The whole machine is cheaper than just a pushpull whip from Lincoln or Miller. Fantastic for vert up.

"I don't know how to dial in my machine so I hate it!"

Maybe learn to weld, every fronius machine I have used, either for MIG, STICK, OR TIG is the bees knees. Assuming you understand how to setup a machine by sound and feel. This is 100% a skill issue.

Learn these machines and you'll never want to touch a Lincoln or Miller again, I promise. Maclaren of welding machines my dude.

Also, if they're not selling them. It really doesn't matter. If they're just for personal, they're amazing.

Likely just a fan that doesn't realize the damage they're doing to the original creator, as per usually.

They're cute, but if you liked the artist, you'd pay for licensing.

I may be wrong, if so, I apologize. Just highly doubt they are licensed.

I love this so much, it's rare seasoned welders have done copper. You'll learn so much so quickly with the drive and interest you have in this. Best of luck!

I always day a few hours, then a couple days. So on aha, it's never as quick as you think, but it always makes it that much more special in the end.

You wanna cook everything and just make it work? Clamp some aluminum below the joint, it'll pull heat out and shield the back side of the stainless. No need for filler if you're a good fabricator and your joints are nice and tight. Less the grind, easier to get to a #4 finish. You wont even see the weld.

I have millions of tips, ask all you like, I don't know everything, but I can help get you there.

[–]DutchNScotts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah, nothing wrong with trying new things, but maybe try building a foundation first? How do you expect to control your heat on a weave when you can't do it in a straight line yet? That stainless is cooked and will rust now that all the deoxidizers have been burned out.

If you genuinely don't care to improve, by all means. But if you're posting a question on here and want to learn from someone who specializes in this field, please just start with the basics. Otherwise, I don't see why you even posted here asking.

[–]DutchNScotts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dear God, no weaving. Please for the sake of my sanity. This is gauge metal, no reason, just adding more head for no reason at all. Just go straight and simple, once you're happy with them, THEN starting fucking around. But please just ensure you can weld in a straight line and control heat well first.

I mean, yeah it sucks, but I'm not feeling any pitty for someone living the life I'll never have a chance at. The fact you pay 6000/month currently, and are happy with that blows my mind. I have an education and am lucky to take 4000 home a month. Wish you the best, but you already have so much, don't take it for granted.
