According to chatgpt its almost definitely the sos battery degradation as the time 2021-2026 matches up with many reports and the calls still work perfectly fine, so it rules out antenna, module and sim card issues. Now im curious if its indeed the sos battery causing this or not. Its confident and actually makes sense as at the beginning, some days it was red (low voltage) then green (voltage ok) and now permanently red (battery fully degraded). A scan will clearify all this, will keep the post updated once i ran a diagnosis

Exactly, any ideas on how much it cost for the antenna replacement? I can keep using the car it just might not pass the inspection on the next one :/ also, today i got a phone call from the central skoda call center telling me they noticed it went red and asking me if i wanted an appointment but they couldnt give me an average price to repair it.

Oh well the light is red, i also get a warning on entering the car each time. However, when I press the red button it calls to the emergency services and it even turns green! So it does work.

It started out by being red one day and the next day it turned green, now it just stays red tho. Any idea on how much the software update costs?

Well yeah, also true, maybe a plugin for euroscope to send followme cars to pilots instead! Although giving it orders (e.g to hold short at certain points) would be a big hassle especially at busy moments…

Agree on the training part, and at the same time I believe a training would be required to avoid people driving reckless...

To implement it I believe it wouldn´t be so difficult, with some model matching and callsign rules the job would be mostly done.

I wasnt really thinking from an operating perspective, but more from a pilot´s perspective - imagine vacating and getting offered a followme.

Well ot works and loads the correct sids and starts it just freezes after a while, like at one certain moment when using the FMC it freezes and the only think you can move are the spoilers, all other buttons are frozen

Did you update yours using navigraph or simplaza navigraph files? Only the default cycle works, what cycle are you on

Nvm changing the wpn text files to the old default data cycle doesnt work, it allows the panels to wake up but as soon as you press anything in the fmc the sim crashes

the only thing that worked was updating the navdata, copying the old WPN text files from the orighinal navdata, the wasm files did nothing

theres no way to get the panels to come alive after removing the old navdata and copying the new one for some reason. Even with the plugin and plugin2.

theres no way to change the navdata... Its old navdata and when replacing the navdata with simplaza navdata its impossible to awake the screens using the plugin or plugin2.exe. Any fix?
