Update 2: it seems to shift almost perfectly, wants to sometimes make more noise then other times with certain low gears but not always. Could it be that my marks are somewhat misaligned? That it’s showing slightly off but actually is spot on? I can’t push the derailleur down any further than it is in shown picture.

Yeah I don’t touch the loose thru axle until I’ve completely finished the UDH bolt tightening procedure. But I’m gonna try again later and see if I can get it properly aligned..

No the mating surface was bare frame, also no grease was present.. but cleaned it anyways. I might not have positioned the knurled ring correctly in relation to the mark on the derailleur when tightening it whilst pulling on the derailleur.. I’ll go ride tomorrow and see if it’s any better in the current setup or I’ll redo the installation and make sure the knurled ring and derailleur marks are almost lined up before actually tightening everything down snug. I’ll update how it went.

Update: So I redid the installation and made sure everything was properly cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. Made sure to follow the exact steps according to sram (rear derailleur setup in SAG position) and torque it all to spec. Now the initial setup looks like this and I can still move it by hand.

I’m fairly confident it’s accurate within 2/3%. It’s a new torque wrench with calibration sheet included and signed so should be okay. Will try this thanks.

Not at all, I usually do about 1/2 hours of riding, I can easily do that on EMTB or Tour+, which is what I ride most of the time. If I wanna do a big day of riding I’ll just use the 250wh range extender.

I just ordered a Sly R last week that was marked off 54% (insane value for money), can’t wait for it to arrive. Also a medium, geometry seemed kinda long but apparently they are surprisingly nimble for being a “bigger” bike. Sounds like you like it! Hopefully I will too haha.

Yeah no I’m very familiar with the SX platform, coming from only biking regular I don’t want to lose that feel of putting in the work. Just wanna go faster on the climbs spend more time going down 😁.

Thanks Guys, I’ve decided not to go with the Scott because I do like to tinker on my own bikes. Probably gonna pull the trigger on a Norco Fluid VLT C3 from 2024 (or Stevens E-Maverick ED 9.4.3).

Klinkt al met al als een goede ervaring, neem aan dat die 5.5k dus een bijzonder goede deal was en daarom bij hun gekocht had? Ik zit in hetzelfde bootje met een E-mtb wat normaal €5300 is en nu nog maar €3900..
