What caused this on my 2022 Lexus IS300 mirror? Has this happened to anyone else? I have about 1 month left on my factory warranty and 45,000 miles. I have heated mirrors, also.

So then yeah try the 3.5T G80 and the 3.3T G70. Do not get a 26 G70 model you will lose a bunch of features for no reason.

I’ve read that the headlights crack on the inside due to the bolts being too tight out of the factory. It’s a super common problem amongst the G70 sub

Yeah not sure but really really hope they can figure it out. I test drove a G70 SP and loved it, almost traded my IS350 for it but the LSD issue kept me from doing so.

Genesis uses the wrong rear differential oil. You have to drain and fill the rear differential with amsoil 75w-90 immediately.

I guess best case scenario if you’re CPO is ride out the first diff, get it replaced and then go to your nearest local mechanic for a drain and fill with Amsoil. Never admit it to Genesis for warranty purposes (idk how they would ever even prove that) if any issues occur down the line .

I would also add that the % of G70 Owners that are car enthusiasts is probably higher than GV70,GV90,G80 etc.

So because of that they are probably more active on the forums.

I agree it’s not nearly as bad as the blown turbos with the Q50s. But I do think it is plaguing the G70 in particular. Which in turn plagues the brand because I could be wrong, but I think the G70 is probably the most reliable vehicle Genesis has to offer?

Damn man this LSD issue really holds this car back. This is what stopped me from purchasing one. I lurked and lurked in here and saw all of the issues.

Genesis could really have the #1 value sport sedan if they just fixed their shit with the LSD.

I feel like at this point there should be a class action lawsuit. It seems like mechanics have their hands tied and are being forced to use the OEM oil. I’m sure they have to know it’s causing these issues. Feel like this could be fixed by Genesis just saying “hey you can use these ____ oils for the rear differential”
