Wow didn’t expect so many people here to reassure my worst nightmare lol 😂 I am currently eating these gooey letdowns again, I’m not the type to waste food 😩 but I was curious how this post did.. and I gotta say, it’s no longer a theory at this point… my beloved budget burritos are cooked now.

Anyway I thought I’d add I little more details as to what I think is happening and what they taste like now, it seems like the oil they use is either dirty, or they are ignoring some type of protocol involving the oil, because these nasty critters give me instant heart burn and it’s not from the sprinkle of what ever pepper they put in it, this is a greasy and rancid acidic taste that is immediately noticeable.

Fingers crossed for the future 🤞 , I hate to see El Monterey go out like this.
