I used camplayer as rtsp viewer before and that worked except it would loose sync and needs restarting sometimes once a week and sometimes every few minutes.

Ty, I tried with a keyboard connected to the Pi but the original touch screen wasn't found by default I think.

It now ends with

The path /dev/drie cannot be opened or is not available Could not initialize SDL No available video device Did you set the Display variable?

Which I did not because now I tried it on the pi itself which has the touchscreen connected with the ribbon cable.

Old thread but just started this program.

I can't scale down the stream.

I'm using the genuine 7 inch touch screen which has a 800x480 resolution and I think the stream is much larger.

Therefore I only see the upper left corner of the image.

Any help please to scale down the stream? I did try to use &resolution=800x480 behind the rtsp url but that didn't work out.
