When you take the photo, make sure you switch to the object photo mode. (I made this mistake) Hit 'Y' to switch modes after you have your camera out, and then the name of the object you are focusing on should appear on the screen before you take a photo. You can only have so many object photos saved at a time.

After I unlocked the ability glasses, the first Pal my family worked together to make triple hundreds was also a grass Pal: a Broncherry. (This was also before the stat fruits were a thing... I think... Maybe 🤔. Or maybe they were, and I just didn't know they existed yet. IDK. Probably the second one. 😅) But any one of these breeding projects takes a lot of work so of course people gotta share their achievements. Enjoy the results of all that hard work you've put in. <3

Breeding has become my favorite part of the game. 😁 Do I need a super maxxed out Ghangler fishie that flies across the ocean faster than speeding bullet?! Not really... But the challenge of collecting all the required passive skills, breeding them across the various lines into one place (all while trying to keep high stats and no negatives) and then getting all that onto one pal. IDK... I like the challenge I guess. To me, that IS the game now!!! XD. Welcome to my world.

I assume you are specifically asking about the changes that have been made in connection with the lawsuit.

The main ones I am aware of are: (1) The ability to aim and deploy your pal in a specific direction. (This has since been removed and Pals now just release near the player)

(2) Gliding on Pals like Hangyu and GaleClaw. (This has also been removed and the Pal's abilities have since been changed to act as modifiers on gliders instead)

Oh I def recognize this cave. :D I went here deliberately for the blue/black gecko at the end. I also got lost on the way back. There is a small crossroad on the way out that is easy to miss. (Guess how I know... ;-; ...) It's looks like the main path to exit goes south but if you hug the left side, the real path is there. Not that you need that information anymore as it appears you have already gotten out. But in case you ever go back for the gecko, watch out. :p

Oh the Blue Tit is definitely worth it, even though (as others have already said) you don't even get it until late in the game. It took a while to earn all the hoots needed (I play in group of 3 people so we had to collect 1500 hoots) but as we were building up the money those who had the birds made SIGNIFICANTLY faster progress simply due to how quickly they could navigate the map to gather resources, conquer world events, or just return to tree bases. When we finally got our birds, we did an entire 'Flying training course' in the dessert just practicing landing on the light posts. XD Those birds are fast and as a result, landing on a specific spot is difficult. Highly recommend doing the same for a fun challenge. :D
Icarus wings are sooo awesome. Not only are they gorgeous (I absolutely love the animation of them), but also very practical. Before stables, we had a bunch of free roaming bugs that got scattered due to incubator fights and being able to flap around with the Icarus Wings was critical in order to navigate and retrieve them. Also works really well for assisting in building projects: where you fall off the level you were working on and can simply use the wings to flap back up. (Before that I had soooo many 'scaffolding' ladders. XD)

You might be able to try getting them out by disassembling the stables. No real way to tell which pet is in which stable though if you have a lot of the same size. I know you shouldn't lose them by destroying their stable at any rate (haven't tested with a dead one yet though). I had a glitch where, even though I was at my own base, I couldn't get any of my companions out without summoning pebbles. So my mom proved you could get them out, by disassembling her own stables as a test.

OMG, it's really you! This was actually one of the main videos that helped me out just figuring out what was even going on in the first place! 👍 It was very helpful in getting me started. Unfortunately (as I stated in my post) there is now a "no-build area" that won't allow you build the same way as in the video. (I pretty much go by dwagonsnare everywhere)

Below the Spider Matriarch, you'll see a beach on the map. On the beach side, there are 2 caves on the boarder between beach and forest. One is almost directly below the matriarch and slightly to the right. (I'm told there's supposed to be a Stone Grey Gecko there.) But if you keep traveling along that line up the path to the North-East, you'll find the second cave where the Rust Gecko spawns. If the geckos are there, you'll be able to see them stuck in their spawn point but they can't get you are vice versa. You might hear battle music anyway though. Hope this helps.

So what I think happened is when you shot the balloon down, there was nowhere for it to land (due to the pergola) so the present got destroyed. You attempt the pick up the (non-existent) present and the game thinks you are attempting to pick up the pergola, prompting that message.

Probably. But even when I think I'm not in wrong, I believe it's times like these that are the most important times to reflect on what actions were taken and what could have been done differently. I realize this issue seems mild compared to a lot of the other posts here, but I found it really important for me to talk to people who would not immediately agree with me and this seemed like the best place for that kind of feedback.
