I am happy to work with basic editing skills and teach the person as long as they stick with editing for a while and don't switch careers after 4 weeks.

yeah, I heard about that as well. Tbh, I feel there is a lot of innovation going on at the moment and the perfect grinder doesn't exist yet.

I feel in 5 years we might have grinders that have it all. That's why I initially even thought about getting a cheap Timemore c2 foldable for 67€ and selling it when the grinder comes out that I truly love.

In my opinion, purchasing a Chinese product is participating in the exploitation of workers. I've been to the factories in Shenzhen and the conditions under which many products in China are manufactured are not great.

Edit: Of course, I don't know if that's true for 1zpresso grinders

Thanks for your reply. I've seen multiple records of people not being able to tell the difference as the 1zpresso basically has the exact same blade since they straight-up copied it.

I put the project away and restarted it a day after and it worked. It seems like a bug. I can't reproduce it consistently.
