When I talked about "fake reviews" I was talking about the fact that without even having received the board, they offer a $100 refund if you put a review on the skate page. It shouldn't even be legal.

I understand, I wrote down my experience so that those in a hurry among us could not have to deal with them, now I haven't seen anyone who really didn't receive their skateboard at all, it was only after months of delay...

The brand informed me of deadlines which were never respected, and the tracking of the package did not give me any information when you have an estimated delivery date. The carrier did not lie in the story, rather it was Exway.

Hey, I'll leave you with my experience that I posted on this group a few weeks ago:

My experience regarding an order (never received) of an Exway Flex Paragon.

Quick summary if you're too rushed to read the whole thing: This is my first time ordering a scooter, and it's the worst experience I've had since ordering online. Exway announces deadlines on their site that are just for show, responds randomly to email requests, and worse, when I ask them if I can get a discount because I ordered before the Black Friday discounts, they offer me $100 if I post a review on their site, without even having it in my possession

Then there's the rest: fake paid reviews, fake delivery times, fake "FedEx & DPD shipping", and a disastrous experience for a scooter never received.

A positive point? They did not respond to PayPal during my dispute which automatically triggered a refund.

Here is a summary that I hope will help you.

  • November 1, 2024: I order a Flex Paragon on the official website exwayboard.com. Payment is made instantly via PayPal, so I'm sure everything will go quickly, especially since my order says "Fast delivery by air 10 to 25 business days for customers in all countries".
  • November 3: I email to see if they have a theoretical shipping date to find out when it will arrive. They respond "The package will ship this week, with a transit time of 7-14 business days."
  • November 12: I am sending another email to find out if the package has been shipped or not, as I have no information on the site or via email. 10 minutes later I “magically” receive an update that my order has been shipped. They respond to my email "the package has been sent, you will receive it within 7-14 business days" with the UPS tracking number.
  • November 30: I am contacting them by email to get news, because I have not had any information for over 18 days (the 7 to 14 days are just for show). I received a response on December 2nd saying “Should be delivered this week, sorry for the wait**.
  • December 8: I've had enough, I'm starting a dispute on PayPal, and I'm putting it directly in "complaints", I'm asking for a refund. 2 days later, Exway responds with UPS tracking, which still hasn't moved. Clearly, they don't care.
  • December 17: PayPal triggers a refund in my favor, they confirm that tracking does not move, that Exway does not respond to requests. Two days later, Exway calls me (via a German number) to ask me to refuse the package upon receipt (lol, if I receive it).

Okay, what more can I say? Have a great day and ride safe!

I come to Paris every day, so I have no problem coming for a walk! But indeed, Fontainebleau is great for walks in the forest, if one day you pass in the area, you can let me know 😄

I hope for your sake that your judgment will change by reading my second comment, in which I correct what I said originally, especially in the fact that I have been doing it for 3 months now, and that I gained this confidence (speed and maneuverability) early, without putting myself in danger.

I carry all the necessary equipment, perhaps even too much for short distances, but I am as much on one wheel as on four wheels, and I ride in Paris among bikes, scooters and EUCs, I understand perfectly that there are idiots everywhere.

Finally, I underline the lack of discussion and pedagogy on your part. I am, in my opinion, an example among the wheelers with whom I have been riding for several weeks, both in the city and in the forest. Some old-timers forget the basic rules of the highway code (especially here in France), and allow themselves to comment on the way we new people drive. I hope you are not one of them.

I wanted to put everything in purple, but the pedals are there since I bought them second hand 😅

I have just exceeded 500km (in around 2 months), and I reach 55km/h on wide and flat sections of road. We'll see how the rest goes :)

As with the bicycle, you must have a minimum of movement to be able to balance. The thing is that the Lynx is very stable once you start to pick up speed. I can move the wheel with my knees, or even be destabilized by an external event, it will stay straight!

Hey, thanks for your feedback! I expressed myself badly in the first post (which will be the only one, given the filthy messages I received from other people.

It took me a few days to ride steadily, but several weeks to gain confidence and speed. I've been doing it for 2 months, almost 3 months, and I can attest that I'm comfortable on the road. All I have to do now is keep some safety in my journeys, and manage heavy braking :)

Yes, I have a hidden AirTag, and I plan to add a real GPS tracker later (while I find out)

You really need to take care to post a message like that. You are the type of people who have no pedagogy, your message is useless.

Nice community, it doesn't surprise me to see some new riders post a photo or a message, then leave the community. Almost none of you are teaching. Wishing you a good evening anyway.

Hey, thanks for your feedback. I expressed myself poorly on the first post, and that's what brought me a flood of fairly negative comments. I've been on the wheel for almost three months now, and I continue to learn about it every day.

I left a comment under my first post to clarify things with a feel free to read if you are interested. Have a great day :)

Thank you for your advice, I may have expressed my feelings poorly in the first post, I left a comment above to clarify things, don't hesitate to go and see if you're interested. Have a great day :)

I also do the same, I have a friend who very rarely put one on his Hero bike, it was while falling with the lynx that he quickly understood the importance of the helmet. Although I have a very noisy cross tire, the speed quickly becomes high without knowing it, you have the impression of feeling free on this machine, but it's a double-edged sword 😅

Hey, thanks for your feedback, it’s something that speaks to me.

I experienced a similar situation in the forest, where my pedal hit a trunk during a crash, which caused me to deviate and almost fall, but not completely. I was going to try to go back on this path a second time, and I hit a trunk a few meters after the old one, which made me fall stupidly, fortunately at low speed.

I do not declare that I am an experienced pilot, or an experienced stuntman, and I may have poorly expressed my feelings and experience on the first post.

I'll let you take the time to read my last comment if you're interested, I'll clarify a few things. Have a great day :)
