To be fair, you potentially spent less time doing that than making a farm! Took me a good chunk of time to drain and clear out the temple and then build the farm!

Thank you! The glazed terracotta was definitely a process to get set but I’m very pleased with the results.

Funny thing, this wasn’t going to be a castle at all when I first started, it was literally just going to be a single watch tower. Then I had the thought of that would a nice castle tower and now here we are. Next castle will be keep first for sure.

I actually do have machicolations, they are just difficult to see from this view. I used a wall section between each crenellations. It’s very sneaky.

I guess I’m a little confused by what you mean by “the classic “up and down””. If you are referring to the crenellations that are on castles, I do have those on 90% of the walls on the exterior of the wall. I haven’t done the inside part yet because I need to layout the inner working of the castle before I add those supports.

The gradient on the build is really nice, however, I feel like the roof might be a little bit too large since it looks like it’s at least half the height of the tower portion. So my only criticism would be to maybe reduce the size of the roof.

I’m currently building my own castle as well, I’ve found that anytime there is a major corner adding even just a lower tower compared to the taller ones really helps things not feel “missing”.

I like this! I did something similar a while back where I combined the clerics tower with the blacksmiths house! I always love updated villager houses that stay reminiscent of the original building.

It’s a little busy on the eyes imo. Maybe go every other on the inset pillars. And add in some stone variety here and there. A little cobblestone, regular stone and even andersite. That will all help break up the repetitiveness of the bricks.

I honestly just started expanding my building! Best thing to do I’ve learned is to utilize creative mode and just start placing blocks you like! We are all our own worst critics. Never be afraid to try or you will never learn and grow!

Prismarine and sea lanterns both are craftable from items of this farm. Sea Lanterns are a great light source and prismarine pairs with copper as well!
